Scott, a twenty-five year veteran of the entertainment industry, has successfully navigated both the spotlight and behind-the-scenes roles.
As a Managing Producer, Scott has worked on several feature films, including his most recent projects, "Lost & Found" and "Lake Effects". The former, starring Justin Kelly, Benjamin Stockham, Cary Elwes, and Jason Patric, was released through Sony Picture Entertainment, while the latter, starring Jane Seymour, Jeff Fahey, Scottie Thompson, Casper Van Dien, and Sean Patrick Flannery, premiered on the Hallmark Channel.
Through his production shingle, Sure Crossing Films, and his boutique Producer's Rep firm, Handshake Partners, Scott has helped produce and bring numerous films to the marketplace. Some of his notable projects include "#ROXY", "Making Babies", "The Trust", "Bro", "Blinder", and "Zombie Hamlet".
Scott also played a key role in creating and developing Silverwood Films, a Los Angeles-based production company responsible for films such as "Half Nelson", "Stephanie Daley", and "The Passage".
As the President of Melstar Entertainment, Scott oversees a multi-platform content company specializing in independent feature films, music, and VR content for the digital entertainment frontier. His work includes the development of the Digital App EVRLAND, available on the iPhone App Store, and film/music development for music.com.
Before transitioning to the entertainment industry, Scott earned a degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and performed in over forty theatrical productions, including two Broadway and National Touring shows alongside stars like Carol Channing, Kristen Chenoweth, Lee Roy Reams, Joanne Worley, and Cathy Rigby.
Scott's extensive filmography includes appearances in feature films like "Date Movie" and numerous television shows, including the lead role in the sitcom "Mafiosa" developed for Comedy Central. He even has experience as a Student News Corps Anchorman with James Marsden for KOCO Television in Oklahoma City, although he admits that was a long time ago.
