Satomi Hofmann is a talented actress who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through her work in Broadway, television, film, and commercials. Her impressive credits include starring roles in M Night Shyamalan's Knock At The Cabin and Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Satomi's creative journey began as a classically trained pianist. She attended the renowned San Domenico School Virtuoso Program, where she had the opportunity to train with renowned pianists Yehudi Menuhin and Leif Bjaland, among others. During this time, she discovered her passions for acting and singing, which would eventually become a significant part of her career.
After graduating from UCLA's prestigious theater program, Satomi landed the leading lady role in the Las Vegas spectacular, EFX, opposite original Phantom of the Opera star Michael Crawford and later opposite legendary David Cassidy. This experience not only honed her acting skills but also introduced her to the world of music.
While working in Las Vegas, Satomi became a founding member of the all-female Celtic rock band Killian's Angels, where she showcased her vocal and instrumental talents. The band's unique sound and energetic performances quickly gained a loyal fan base.
Satomi's acting career eventually took her to the East Coast, where she joined the Broadway cast of The Phantom of the Opera. This marked a full-circle moment for Satomi, as she had the opportunity to perform on the same stage as her idol, Michael Crawford. She was a member of the cast when The Phantom of the Opera ended its record-breaking run on April 16, 2023.
In addition to her stage work, Satomi has also appeared in numerous television shows, including Mare of Easttown (HBO MAX),Servant (Apple TV),and FBI: Most Wanted (CBS). Her commercial credits include advertisements for Bank Of America, Smartwater, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, among others.
Satomi is also dedicated to giving back to her community. She is a longtime member of Broadway Hearts, a charity that brings interactive music experiences to children and their families in children's hospitals across the country. Through her work with the organization, Satomi has had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of many young people.
