Sarju Patel, a talented individual from the Monterey Bay Area in California, embarked on a fascinating journey by pursuing a degree in Film and Philosophy at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Throughout his illustrious career, Patel has demonstrated his versatility by writing, directing, and producing a diverse range of short and feature films, both domestically and internationally.
One of his most notable achievements was serving as the Line Producer for the award-winning feature film "Vanaja," which was shot on location in Andhra Pradesh, India. The film's impressive accolades include winning the Best Debut award at the esteemed Berlin Film Festival and garnering nominations for two Independent Spirit Awards, specifically for Best First Film and Best Cinematography.
Patel's directorial credits include the feature film "That Fall," as well as the short films "One Island to Another" and "Travesty." The latter, which starred Duncan Garrow, received nominations for Best Dramatic Short Film and Best Actor in a short film.
