Sargun Mehta Dubey is a talented actress, model, and television host who has made a significant impact in the Indian entertainment industry.
Born and raised in Chandigarh, Mehta received her education at Sacred Heart Convent School and Carmel Convent School before pursuing a bachelor's degree in commerce from Delhi University's Kirori Mal College. She then started a master's program in business management but dropped out to focus on her acting career.
Mehta began her career in theatre, appearing in several plays during her time at university. She later made her television debut with the show 12/24 Karol Bagh in 2009 and went on to appear in several other shows, including Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharmayudh, Phulwa, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, and Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath.
In 2014, Mehta gave a special dance performance on the debut of the reality show Bigg Boss and was featured as a guest contestant on the show's ninth season in 2015. She also appeared in several Punjabi films, including Angrej, Love Punjab, Lahoriye, and Qismat, for which she won several awards, including the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Punjabi.
Mehta's successful transition to the production side of the television industry began with the show Udaariyaan, which she produced under her firm, Dreamiyata Entertainment Private Limited. She has also appeared in several films, including Saunkan Saunkne, Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya, and Moh.
In her personal life, Mehta is married to actor Ravi Dubey, whom she met on the set of 12/24 Karol Bagh. The couple has a production house called Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt Ltd and has appeared together in several reality shows, including Nach Baliye and Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati.
