Sarah Elizabeth Foret, a multifaceted individual, was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to a perfusionist father and a newspaper editor mother. Her childhood was marked by frequent relocations throughout the South and East Coast, primarily due to her mother's work, which instilled in her a profound appreciation for human stories and a passion for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
With the unwavering support of her family, Sarah pursued her passion for performing arts, attending schools in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her instructors played a significant role in shaping her focus and discipline, as she honed her skills in theatre, taking on lead roles in productions such as "West Side Story," "The Children's Hour," "Beauty and the Beast," and "The Fantastics."
Sarah's training was deeply rooted in theatre, but it was her creative writing and observing rehearsals that provided her with the most valuable learning experiences. By the age of 17, Sarah had developed a strong sense of determination and struck out on her own, moving to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting career.
In her 20s, Sarah found work, taking on a wide range of roles, from naive teenagers to secret sex-aholics to unsuspecting murderers. Her performance as Sophie in Erik Patterson's "He Asked For It" at Macha Playhouse rekindled her love for the stage. This led to an opportunity to travel to New York City for an off-off Broadway production of Shem Bitterman's "Harm's Way," where she received favorable reviews.
After a decade of working in both screen and theatre, Sarah took a pause from her career to travel the country, build a family, and meet strangers with stories once more. This pause allowed her to develop a more authentic perspective and a more rounded vantage point.
Now firmly replanted in her favorite city, Los Angeles, Sarah continues to tell stories whenever possible, while devoting herself to her beautiful family.
