Sarah Scott Davis, a beauty from the mid-west, has a strong theatrical background that enables her to convincingly take on any role and bring the story to life.
Born in Illinois, Sarah's fascination with creating characters began when she landed her first role in the elementary school play, "Pippin". As she grew, so did her talent, earning her three Best Actress awards in the Boston Globe Theater Competition for her roles in Rimers of Eldritch and Wings.
Sarah further honed her craft by studying at New York University, Boston University, Alvin Ailey Repertory Dance Co., and with renowned instructors Larry Moss and Tony Greco.
With an organic theatricality that sets her apart, Sarah has been cast in over 14 theater productions in the United States and Europe. Her life experiences and authentic approach have led her to land diverse roles, ranging from Othello in Othello to the NYC National Tour of For Colored Girls, and even a blues singer in Nostalgia Forgetting/Desire.
Sarah's impressive resume includes a stint as the understudy in August Wilson's Two Trains Running, directed by the legendary Lloyd Richards, and a starring role in Flyin' West at the prestigious San Diego Repertory Theater.
In addition to her theater work, Sarah has also ventured into the world of film, where she was cast as Julianne Moore's nurse in "Safe", directed by Todd Haynes, and later as a sultry criminal in Showtime's "Next Afternoon".
Sarah's credits also include several notable films, such as "Don King: Only in America" on HBO and TV film "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge", as well as several short films. She has also appeared in television shows, including Criminal Minds, Five Desperate Hours (NBC/MOW),Playing with Fire (BET),The Drew Carey Show, The Bold and the Beautiful, and a recurring role on The Newsroom (HBO).
With two amazing children and a five-time Grammy nominated songwriter, mixer, producer husband, Sarah has been a trailblazer in her career, with many more trails ahead of her to blaze.
