Sarah, a classically trained actress, has had a diverse career spanning both stage and screen. She has played lead roles in numerous films, including Ten Little Indians and The River of Death, alongside notable actors such as Donald Pleasance, Herbert Lom, Frank Stallone, Robert Vaughan, L.Q. Jones, and Michael Dudikoff.
Following her three-year stint at drama school in the late 1980s, Sarah began her career in theatre, performing in productions such as Love off the Shelf at the Nuffield Southampton, The School for Scandal at the Plymouth Theatre Royal, and The Importance of Being Earnest with the Cathay Pacific touring theatre company. She also enjoyed roles in popular 1990s TV sit-coms, including Law and Disorder alongside Penelope Keith, and Freddie and Max with Anne Bancroft.
After taking a long sabbatical from acting to focus on her family and form her jazz and blues quintet, The Sarah Ward Jazz Quintet, Sarah has delightedly returned to her first passion – acting and playing different characters. In 2019, she starred in the multi-award-winning indie feature film, You Won't Remember Me, for which she won Best Actress in an Independent Film at the New York Film Awards. The statue proudly sits on her dresser, although she often forgets to dust it.
Most recently, Sarah played the role of Blair, the "baddie," in the 2022 feature film Memories of Another, released on Amazon Prime, and The Therapist in the film short trilogy, A Dark Mind, which is currently in post-production. She is thrilled to be working with Skooch Media on their new spooky epic, The Presence of Snowgood, and is having an absolute blast.
