Biography

Sarah-Jane's award-winning short film "134" premiered at the 31st Galway Film Fleadh in 2019, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career as a filmmaker. The film has since screened at dozens of prestigious festivals worldwide, including the renowned BFI Flare, where it was selected for the esteemed Five Films For Freedom program.

In addition to her success with "134", Sarah-Jane's feature-length project "Some Kind of Atlantis" was one of only ten projects chosen for development funding as part of Screen Ireland's New Writing Scheme in 2019. This recognition is a testament to her growing reputation as a talented and innovative storyteller.

Sarah-Jane's journey as a filmmaker began with the completion of her debut short film "Good Fight" in 2016. This early success led to her selection as a finalist for the AFI Directing Workshop for Women, a prestigious program that has launched the careers of many notable female filmmakers.

Prior to her work as a filmmaker, Sarah-Jane had a successful career as an actress, both in her native Ireland and the UK. She has had the opportunity to work with esteemed producers, including Kathleen Kennedy, and has honed her craft through her extensive experience in the industry.
