Sandy Gulliver was born on January 7, 1949, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, to Kenneth Guinn, a deceased Chief of Police, and Elaine Singsank-Guinn, a homemaker who also passed away. Sandy is one of nine siblings, including Don, Dave, Nancy, Julie, Kathy, Bob, Tom, and Mark.
Sandy's career in the airline industry spanned 32 years, starting when she became a Flight Attendant for United Airlines at the age of 20. She flew for the company, based in various cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, and Chicago, until her retirement shortly after September 11th.
After retiring from United Airlines, Sandy pursued her passion for acting, enrolling in classes at several studios, including The Acting Studio Chicago, The Green Room, Vagabond, and Ted Sarantos Studios in Oak Park. Her love for acting led her to perform on stage at Theater Wit and The Den Theater, as well as take on the role of Grandmother Silberhaus in the annual production of The Nutcracker at Dancenter North in Gurnee, Illinois.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Sandy dedicates her time to supporting her fellow actors by searching for casting opportunities and attending their shows and screenings. She is also involved with Reach Rescue in Mundelein, Illinois, where she fosters litters of puppies and helps them find forever homes.
