Biography

Samm Levine's initial significant role was as a member of the "geek" half of the short-lived cult hit, Freaks and Geeks, which premiered in 1999.

The following year, he reunited with Freaks and Geeks producer, Judd Apatow, for another highly acclaimed coming-of-age series, Undeclared, which debuted in 2001. That same year, Samm made his feature film debut in the raucous teen spoof, Not Another Teen Movie, also released in 2001.

Since then, he has appeared in over 60 films and television shows, including the Oscar-winning Quentin Tarantino epic, Inglourious Basterds, which was released in 2009. He has also made numerous memorable appearances on beloved programs such as Entourage, which aired from 2004 to 2011, Modern Family, which premiered in 2009, NCIS, which has been on the air since 2003, and How I Met Your Mother, which ran from 2005 to 2014.

In addition to his growing catalog of television appearances, Samm is also known for his roles in many cult features, including the Broken Lizard comedy, Club Dread, which was released in 2004, the sci-fi thriller, Pulse, which premiered in 2006, and acclaimed indie comedies, Drones, which was released in 2010, and Made for Each Other, which aired on IFC in 2009.

Samm has also served as co-host and producer to Kevin Pollak's renowned celebrity talk show, Kevin Pollak's Chat Show, since its inception in 2009. He came into this role after being a guest on the show's first episode.
