Samantha's life in theater took a dramatic turn when she was born and raised in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As she grew, her passion for the performing arts led her on a journey across the country, taking her to various stages and productions. When the pandemic struck in 2020, Samantha found herself in Brooklyn, New York, working on the Broadway production of "The Book of Mormon". With the pandemic forcing stages to close, Samantha's love for storytelling led her to explore new mediums, ultimately finding a new home in television and film.
Samantha's breakthrough role was as Rose King on the OWN and Warner Bros series "The Kings of Napa", marking her first major television credit. She has since appeared in numerous shows, playing diverse characters in "Jane" (Apple TV),"Murdoch Mysteries" (CBC),"Good Sam" (CBS),"The Big Cigar" (Apple TV),and "Improbable Valentine" (Apple TV),which premiered in September.
In addition to her television work, Samantha has also made a name for herself in film. She has taken on roles such as Dr. Segar in the prequel "Orphan: First Kill" (Paramount),Heidi Monroe in "The Holiday Switch" (Super Channel),and Zakiyah Carter in "Deadly Estate" (Neshama & MarVista, Tubi). Her most recent work involves the highly anticipated show "Cross" (Amazon/Paramount),based on the James Patterson novels, where she portrays "Elle", a character deeply entwined with Alex Cross.
