Biography

Samantha Grant, founder of Gush Productions, is a renowned filmmaker with a passion for crafting award-winning, character-driven documentaries that explore the human experience. With over 20 years of experience, Gush has produced high-quality content for a diverse range of outlets, including PBS, MTV, ABC, CNN, and many more.

As a seasoned filmmaker, Samantha has honed her skills in both traditional broadcast journalism and edgy, hybrid storytelling. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including a National Emmy nomination, a Peabody nomination, and a Carnegie-Knight News 21 Fellowship, among many others.

Gush Productions is a San Francisco-based production company that specializes in short and feature-length non-fiction storytelling. With a team of talented professionals, Gush is equipped to take on any project, anywhere in the world. Samantha's greatest asset is her worldwide network of professionals, many of whom she has trained herself through her work at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism and Stanford's Knight Fellowship.
