Samantha Grant, a talented individual, hails from the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, where her passion for acting first began to unfold. Under the guidance of the esteemed Pauline Rathbone, she embarked on her acting studies as a teenager, subsequently furthering her education in the theatre program at John Abbott College. As her love for performing continued to flourish, she joined the Studio Theatre Workshop, where she had the opportunity to hone her craft alongside the STW Repertory Touring Company, performing iconic works of Shakespeare and poetry. Her thirst for adventure and exploration led her to reside abroad in Italy and the UK, as well as travel extensively throughout her career.
With a steadfast dedication to her craft, Samantha has been actively pursuing her acting career in Canada since 1996, studying under the tutelage of renowned instructors Cameron Thor, Ivana Chubbuk, and Larry Moss, among others. Her impressive range has also led her to host a live business internet news show, as well as serve as the subject of an African off-road camping safari for a documentary promo. Her natural aptitude for storytelling has also been leveraged in the creation of realistic and dramatic SPFX improvisations, which have been utilized in the training of police, detectives, and soldiers for the RCMP and Canadian Army, as well as various international forces.
Today, Samantha resides in Alberta, where she has made a home with her husband and son since 2006. Despite her many accomplishments, she continues to pursue her passions for acting, voice-over work, and writing, solidifying her position as a multifaceted and accomplished artist.
