Sam Jules, a talented American actor and diligent student, was born in upstate New York and spent his formative years on the East Coast, where he was shaped by the diverse cultural heritage of his family.
His father, Jean-Gerald, a finance manager of mixed racial descent, hailing from both Haitian and Swedish backgrounds, brought a unique perspective to the family table. On the other hand, his mother, Tracie, a writer of Italian extraction, with roots in both English and Nordic cultures, instilled in Sam a love for the written word.
As a pre-teen, Sam made the bold decision to pursue his passion for acting, trading in his football cleats for a life on stage and screen. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a journey that would take him to the Sundance and Netflix film, The Kindergarten Teacher, where he had the privilege of acting alongside the esteemed Maggie Gyllenhaal as her son Josh.
Academically, Sam has achieved impressive milestones, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in the spring of 2023. He is currently a medical student, working towards his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern in Dallas, with a projected completion date of May 2023.
When not honing his craft or attending to his studies, Sam can be found indulging in his creative pursuits as a skilled guitarist and singer. Fitness is another passion of his, and he often finds solace in the physical and mental challenges of Muay Thai training.
