Sam Hartshorn, a talented filmmaker hailing from North Yorkshire, UK, has been making waves in the industry since 2014, when he received the esteemed EON's Ones To Watch award.

His impressive portfolio includes the short film "Itcher", which caught the attention of BBC3's "The Fear", and "Where Were You?", a sci-fi masterpiece that garnered praise from none other than Rogue One director, Gareth Edwards.

Prior to his feature film endeavors, Hartshorn studied Film and Television Production at the University of York, laying the groundwork for his future successes.

Fast-forward to 2021, when his poignant coming-of-age feature, Cardboard Fort, premiered at the Austin Film Festival, showcasing his growth as a filmmaker.

Hartshorn's documentary, "How We Spent Our Time", a winner of the Straight8 competition, received high accolades from judges Mark Jenkin, Asif Kapadia, and Jess Search, solidifying his reputation as a skilled documentarian.
