Samuel Joseph Coleman, better known as Sam, is a young British actor born on September 26, 1996, in High Wycombe, UK. He began his acting journey at the tender age of five when his mother took him to a local theatre group to boost his confidence.
As a teenager, Sam honed his skills and gained experience at the Jacqueline Fox school of dance and the East Sussex School of Performing Arts. He went on to perform in UK concert tours alongside renowned artists Kerry Ellis and Ruthie Henshall, as well as working in film and television.
Sam's most notable roles include playing the young Hodor in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones and Bud in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel, Leatherface. When he's not acting, Sam is an avid writer and poet, often scribbling away at his latest creative project.
A proud socialist and member of the UK Labour Party, Sam is also openly political. He is a strong advocate for animal rights, veganism, and environmental sustainability, having adopted a strictly vegan diet since November 2015. Sam is also an atheist and a member of Humanists UK, citing secular heroes like Tim Minchin, Derren Brown, and Shappi Khorsandi as inspirations.
Sam's ultimate goal is to make a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of the disadvantaged, whether through activism, philanthropy, or a combination of both.
