Salvatore Esposito, a talented Neapolitan-born actor, began his journey in the world of performing arts by studying at the prestigious Beatrice Bracco Theater Academy and the School of Cinema in Naples. He later relocated to Rome, where his big break came in 2013 with a role on the TV series "Il clan dei camorristi". However, it was his starring role in the critically acclaimed TV series "Gomorra - the TV series" (2014) based on Roberto Saviano's book that catapulted him to fame. His portrayal of the lead character in all four seasons of the series solidified his status as a household name, thanks in part to the show's immense popularity. In 2016, Esposito made his big-screen debut in the film "Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot", playing a young mobster. He then branched out from mobster roles with his subsequent films, including "Zeta", "Veleno", and the comedy "Puoi baciare lo sposo" (2018). In 2019, he starred in the film "L'Eroe" and joined the fourth season of the TV series "Fargo". Recent movie credits include "AFMV - Addio fottuti musi Verdi", "Taxi 5", "L'immortale", and "Spaccapietre". In 2020, Esposito began working on the comedy "Rosanero" by Andrea Porporati and the film "L'ultima cena" by Davide Minnella. To further diversify his creative endeavors, he published his first book, "Lo Sciamano", in 2021.
