Salma is a remarkably multifaceted and accomplished Pakistani-American actor, singer, and producer, boasting a rich and diverse background that spans numerous fields, including rocket science.
Throughout her illustrious career, she has showcased her exceptional talent across a wide range of platforms, including ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, HBO Max, Hulu, and MTV, as well as on and off Broadway and off West End. Her impressive credits include recurrences on the popular show "That Damn Michael Che" and starring roles in productions such as "Bars and Measures" and "Life of Pi", for which she earned a multi-Tony win.
As a co-founder of Black Man Films, Salma has directed her attention towards filmmaking, with her multi-award-winning short film "Silent Partner" premiering at the prestigious RSF Martha's Vineyard African-American Film Festival in 2021 and qualifying for the 2023 Oscars.
