She pursued her passion for the arts at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in 1985.
Initially, Safaa El Tokhi's career path diverged, as she worked as a writer and later joined the Institute of National Culture in 1995. However, her true calling remained the world of acting, which she entered in 1979 with the television serial The Researcher. Although trained as a stage actress, Safaa El Tokhi's screen presence was limited to only one play, The Drunken Days, in 1999.
