Biography

Sabrina Bertaccini Baker was born in the quaint and renowned "spa town" of Castrocaro Terme, Italy. From the tender age of four, she was exposed to the captivating world of cinema, courtesy of her mother, Antonietta Benericetti, who worked at the local cinema and would often take Sabrina to see many films. Following the screenings, young Sabrina would climb onto the cinema stage and reenact scenes featuring famous actors, who would mesmerize the audience with their performances. However, for Sabrina, this was more than just a dream; it marked the beginning of her illustrious career.

She embarked on her professional acting journey by playing the role of Captain of the North alongside Renzo Arbore in the cult-hit program "Indietro Tutta." However, it was her move to Los Angeles in 1989 that truly catapulted her to stardom. She enrolled in the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute (Actor's Studio),Beverly Hills Playhouse, and the Stella Adler Institute, where she became the first student to receive a scholarship.

Sabrina's extensive acting credits in America include roles in films, television soap operas, and sitcoms. She has had the privilege of working alongside renowned actors such as John Travolta and Angelina Jolie. Her American acting career has also seen her take on roles in television shows, as well as serving as a spokesperson for Coca Cola. Furthermore, she was chosen for a worldwide publicity campaign for Dolce & Gabbana, featuring Giselle Bundchen, with Steven Meisel as the director of photography.

In 2005, Sabrina received the esteemed Tabloid Witch Award for Best Supporting Actress, solidifying her position as a respected actress in the industry. Her accomplishments, however, extend beyond television and film, as she has also enjoyed success in the Los Angeles theater world. She has performed on some of the city's most prominent stages, including the Marylin Monroe Theatre, the Glendel Centre Theatre, and the Open Fist Theater, where she played the title role in the celebrated Saint-Exupery production of "The Little Prince."

In addition to her acting credits, Sabrina has also ventured into directing, with productions of "La Ronda," "The Owl & the Pussycat," and "America After Hours" under her belt. She is also a screenwriter and has taught acting in both Los Angeles and Italy.
