Ryan's unproduced screenplays have been selected at festivals a remarkable 32 times, with 12 awards won, including three "Best Unproduced Screenplay" awards. He has demonstrated his versatility by working within a wide range of genres, including horror, action, comedy, science fiction, fantasy, drama, children's films, and based-on-a-true-story dramas.
