Russ Jones embarked on a fascinating journey in the film industry, initially gaining experience through his work in comic books. He had the privilege of collaborating with the renowned Wallace Wood, and soon after, he ventured out on his own, creating the popular black and white magazines, "Creepy" and "Eerie". This marked the beginning of his illustrious career, which would span decades to come.

In 1966, Russ published his first major work, "Monster Mania", a testament to his growing talent and influence in the industry. The same year, he entered into a personal contract with producer Anthony Nelson Keys, allowing him to focus on rewrites for over twenty feature films. This period of his life was marked by a significant amount of time spent in the UK, where he honed his craft and made a name for himself.

After spending over a decade in the UK, Russ returned to his native America, where he would go on to write 28 novels under the pseudonym "Jack Younger". This impressive feat showcases his versatility as a writer and his ability to adapt to different genres and styles.
