Ruby Faye is a Malaysian-born Chinese actress and singer who has made a successful transition to theatre drama, with a career spanning feature films, drama series, and radio dramas. In 2015, she began her journey on the theatre drama stage, winning the "Best Actress in Leading Role" award for her role as Zhenya Komelkowa in the critically acclaimed Soviet war drama "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" at the 13th Malaysia Asli Drama Award (ADA) in 2016.
Ruby's international recognition came when she portrayed Cindy, a lawyer's assistant who fights for justice, in the Hong Kong Indie Film "Million Loves In Me". She received the "Award of Merit for Supporting Actress" at The IndieFest Film Award 2017 in San Diego, California, and the "Award of Excellence for Supporting Actress" at the Depth of Field International Film Festival 2017 in Delaware, USA. Her subsequent awards include "Best Supporting Actress" at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival (HIMPFF) 2017 and "The Best Supporting Actress" at the North Europe International Film Festival 2019.
In 2017, Ruby released her first single "Who Am I" and produced a musical theater "90's" as a warm-up promo for her upcoming debut EP mini-album. She has worked with renowned directors such as Clifton Ko Chi-Sum, Nick Cheung Ka-Fai, Chiu Keng Guan, Ho Yu Hang, Xie XiaoDong, Zahir Omar, Dr. Deric Gan, Patrick Yau Tat-Chi, Sam Loh, Sampson Yuen, Chan Wai Cheong, and Edmund Yeo.
