Ronnie, a talented Latin American producer/director/actor from Texas, grew up in El Paso on the US-Mexico border. Prior to pursuing a career in acting, he was a classical ballet dancer, performing professionally for companies in Colorado, Texas, and New York City. He later transitioned to theatre, working with numerous regional companies across the United States and participating in national tours of shows such as A Christmas Carol, The Pajama Game, and RENT.
Ronnie's passion for the performing arts led him to intern at the Stella Adler School for Acting and earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from West Texas A&M University. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, he is also a successful businessman, owning and operating a bar and venue in Texas.
Ronnie's journey into film production began in Las Vegas, where he became the choreographer and later director of Evil Dead the Musical on the Las Vegas Strip. He continued to work in film, producing LIVE Burlesque and Cabaret on the strip and Downtown Fremont, while also maintaining his venue in Texas and working on directing and acting projects in Vegas and Los Angeles.
As a producer and director, Ronnie has worked on several films, including his directorial debut RING OF DESIRE, which won multiple awards and was picked up for domestic and international distribution. His second film, DEATHCLUB, also received critical acclaim and was released in October 2023. Both films featured original scores and soundtracks.
Ronnie has continued to expand his skills in the film industry, serving as line producer and production manager on films such as THE BEAST INSIDE and SIERRA HIGHWAY, both produced in California. He is known for his attention to detail and ability to keep sets organized, productive, and on schedule while staying within budget.
In addition to his work in film, Ronnie is also a renowned male burlesque performer, known as Pistol Holliday. He has performed at numerous festivals around the world, including Seattle, Ohio, Hollywood, Georgia, New Mexico, Arizona, Panama, and Kansas City. Ronnie has also served as a national mentor for the Golden Legends Championship Challenge and won the National Title of Grand Champion in 2023.
Ronnie is a proud co-owner of the RR Bar Amarillo in the Texas panhandle, which will serve as the primary location for the upcoming film Boozer Loser, directed by Bill Boatman. Ronnie and Boatman will serve as executive producers, while Mr. Nanos will be the production manager/line producer.
