Biography

Ronald L. Conner, a native of St. Louis, currently resides in Chicago with his loving wife and two children.

With a rich 15-year history in the acting world, Conner is a proud ensemble member of Congo Square Theatre, where he has garnered two prestigious Black Theatre Alliance Awards.

In 2008, he received the "Best Actor in an Ensemble" Award for his outstanding performance in The Talented Tenth at Congo Square Theatre.

The following year, in 2009, Conner was honored with the "Best Lead Actor" Award for his captivating portrayal of Boy Willie in the Court Theatre's production of The Piano Lesson.

Throughout his illustrious career, Conner has brought the character of Boy Willie to life in four separate productions.

One of his greatest accomplishments is having performed in eight out of the ten plays in the esteemed August Wilson Century Cycle.
