Romy Weltman is a Canadian actress who has been working professionally since the tender age of 12. Her impressive career has taken her to various roles on television and film, showcasing her remarkable talent to audiences worldwide.
Weltman's latest endeavor is portraying the character of "Martha 'Em' Cypress" in SYFY's new series Revival, which is based on the NY Times best-selling Image comic book. This marks her as a series regular in the show.
In addition to her work on Revival, Weltman has also appeared as "Lexi" in the recurring role on The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, starring comedienne Sindhu Vee and produced by Michael Showalter. The show was a huge hit, ranking as the #1 comedy on Amazon Prime.
Romy's early career began with her first role on the SYFY series Defiance, followed by her role as the younger version of Emily Hampshire in the indie horror film, The Returned. She then booked her first series regular on Backstage, playing the role of "DJ Kit Dunn."
