Romuald Hivert is a young Black Canadian actor who has made a name for himself in the industry through his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft. Born and raised in Montreal, he was classically trained at the Ottawa Theatre School before embarking on his acting career in Vancouver in 2010.
Throughout his career, Romuald has had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the television shows "The Whispers", "Almost Human", and "Continuum". He has also had the privilege of training with some of the industry's top professionals, including Nadine Wright of ACT2, Matthew Lillard, and Bill Marchant.
In addition to his television credits, Romuald has also had the chance to work on several short films and plays. One of his most notable roles was as a prisoner in the short film "Stay of Execution", and he has also played a soldier in the television show "The Whispers" and a sniper in the short film "Hickory".
Romuald's charisma and charm have been showcased in a variety of roles, and he is known for "driving the scene" in many of the projects he has been a part of. His latest short film, "Evermore", is currently in post-production and is being produced by Ian Berg.
One of Romuald's most memorable experiences as an actor was when he played the role of Duane, a mischievous imaginary brother older, in the play "Mischief City". The play was written by Tim Wynne Jones, and Romuald's performance was so impressive that it even caught the attention of an 8-year-old boy who saw the play. The boy was so inspired by Romuald's performance that he told his parents he wanted to be just like him when he grew up, and Romuald was touched by the boy's enthusiasm.
In addition to his acting talents, Romuald is also a skilled writer, director, and producer. He showcased his additional talents in the play "Black Dove", which was a one-act play that combined poetry, acting, and dancing at Carleton University.
Romuald is looking forward to landing his first solid lead in an award-winning TV series or feature film opposite to Denzel Washington or Sean Penn.
