Rohini is a multifaceted Indian personality who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning over four decades, she has established herself as a renowned actress, lyricist, screenwriter, voice actor, and director.
Born into a family of artists, Rohini started her acting career at the tender age of five, making her debut in the Telugu film "Yashoda Krishna" in 1976. She quickly gained popularity as a child artist and went on to act in over 130 south Indian films, including Malayalam and Tamil movies.
Rohini's talent extends beyond acting, as she is also a skilled lyricist and screenwriter. She has written lyrics for the Tamil film "Pachaikili Muthucharam" (2007) and has written all the songs for the album "Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey". Her writing skills have also been recognized in the television industry, where she has written episodes for Tamil TV serials and adapted the Sahithya Academy Award-winning novel "Verukku Neer" for a telefilm in 2005.
