Roger Edwards was born in Oakland, California, where he grew up with two older brothers, Randy and Ramond Wilson, and a younger sister, Romonique. His mother, Rosemary, raised him throughout California's entire Bay Area, providing a nurturing environment that allowed Roger's artistic talents to flourish. As a child, Roger was described as hyper-active and mischievous, but his undeniable charm enabled him to talk his way out of trouble. He demonstrated a natural ability to draw anything he saw in substantial detail from a young age, and by the time he was three years old, his artistic proficiency was undeniable.
Roger's love for singing was evident from an early age, as he joined the Golden Gate Boys Choir in San Francisco at the age of seven. He continued to hone his singing skills throughout junior high, participating in various school musicals. In high school, Roger explored a range of interests, including advanced art, music, drama classes, football, and wrestling. Although he dabbled in diverse courses, nothing captivated him as passionately as acting did. It was during his high school years that his passion for acting ignited, but his desire to pursue a career in acting was put on hold due to unfortunate events that led to his enlistment in the United States Army.
During his military career, Roger experienced all aspects of military life, including a 12-month deployment to Iraq. Despite the challenges he faced, his dream of becoming an actor remained unwavering. Since leaving the military, Roger has appeared in national commercials for Walmart, American Airlines, Dick's Sporting Goods, and other notable commercials and print ads. He made his film debut in Kimberly Pierce's "Stop-Loss," starring Ryan Phillieppe and Channing Tatum. He has co-starred in numerous film and television productions, including "Friday Night Lights," "The Guardian," "Chase," "Lone-Star," and "Spy Kids 4." Roger has worked alongside notable actors such as Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher, John Heard, James Wolk, Cole Hauser, Kelli Giddish, Amaury Nolasco, and Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, and 50 Cent in his upcoming movie "Freelancers."

The characters must fight for their lives against a mysterious, supernatural force believed to be a ghost haunting the school. Created by Matthew Spradlin and Barry Wernick, this film is said to be a twisted horror-comedy, combining the themes of "The Breakfast Club" and "The Grudge." The film boasts an elite cast, including Cameron Deane Stewart, Augie Duke, Ali Faulkner, Marc Donato, Amanda Alch, Chanel Ryan, Eloise Dejoria, Ben Browder, and Judd Nelson.
