Robert Forte Shannon III, professionally known as 7, is a multifaceted individual with a passion for the entertainment industry. As a musician, he has achieved success in booking live shows in the competitive city of Detroit, Michigan, where he had the opportunity to perform alongside renowned acts such as Parliament Funkadelic and The Winans.
With his band UnitedSouls, 7 was able to express his creativity and showcase his musical talents. Prior to pursuing a career in music, he studied theatre, where he was mentored by the esteemed Marilyn McCormick, a 2016 Tony Award recipient for Excellence in Theatre Education.
As an actor, Robert has been cast in various feature productions, including Sarkle, Low Winter Sun, Chicago PD, Detroiters, I Am Wrath, and more. Recently, he has appeared in four feature films released, with notable roles in Emperor, where he portrayed Dangerfield Newby, and Judas & The Black Messiah, where he delivered an Oscar-worthy performance alongside Daniel Kaluuya.
