Robert's illustrious acting career spans over four decades, commencing in 1976 when he embarked on a nationwide tour, logging an astonishing 50,000 miles, alongside three other young actors, in a van, performing two original comedies and a unique four-person adaptation of "A Man for All Seasons" with the esteemed Repertory Theatre of America.
Throughout his remarkable journey, Robert has continued to tread the boards, taking on diverse roles, including JD in "Escape to Margaritaville," Boolie in "Driving Miss Daisy," Uncle Ernie in The Who's iconic "Tommy," Max Bialystock in "The Producers," and Oscar Madison in "The Odd Couple," at the renowned Springer Opera House in Columbus, Georgia.
In Los Angeles, Robert has had the privilege of performing in a wide range of productions, including "Waiting for Godot," where he brought to life the characters of Estragon/Gogo, as well as appearing in "Art," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," the critically acclaimed "The Dining Room" (directed by the accomplished Kay Cole),"Urinetown" (winner of the LA Weekly award),"Laughing Wild," "Landscape of the Body," and "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest."
In addition to his extensive work on stage, Robert has also made a name for himself in the dinner theatre circuit, playing a multitude of comic foils, and has had the privilege of appearing on over 170 stages across the United States.
Furthermore, Robert has demonstrated his versatility by producing, writing, and hosting 24 episodes of the syndicated reality series, "Could It Be A Miracle?"
