Rick Minnich is a renowned American independent filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany, with a strong academic background, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Columbia University and a Master of Fine Arts equivalent in film directing from the esteemed Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf" in Germany.
Throughout his illustrious career, spanning over three decades, Minnich has been prolific in writing, directing, and producing a diverse range of shorts and feature documentaries through his companies, Rickfilms and Our Man in Berlin, in collaboration with various German, European, and North American broadcasters, film funds, and production companies.
