Richard Oakes, a renowned Director of Photography, has made a significant impact in the film industry with his work on various projects. One of his most notable achievements is the writing and direction of the award-winning sci-fi short film "Exit Plan" (2016),which has garnered over 600,000 views. In addition to his work on "Exit Plan", Richard has also served as the Director of Photography for feature films such as "24 Little Hours" and "Homeless Ashes".
In 2012, Richard founded the production company Dark Fable Media, which has since become a hub for his creative endeavors. Through Dark Fable Media, Richard has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, directing over 200 projects for clients such as Universal, EMI, and Gibson Guitars. Many of his music videos have been featured on popular music channels, receiving widespread critical acclaim.
