Richard Fike, Director of Stunt Predators USA & SFX based in Ohio, has been a stalwart in the stunt world since 1986. His first foray into the industry was as a choreographer for the NFL Cleveland Browns' fantasy video "Masters of the Gridiron." Prior to this, Fike had a successful career in the U.S. Army Special Operations community, where he spent over a decade as a civilian with the U.S. Department of Defense.
After his military tenure, Fike focused on teaching martial arts, holding senior black belt ranks in Karate, Judo, and Jujitsu. He developed his unique style of martial arts, Sanchi-Ryu Karate, which emphasizes the importance of close quarter combat, tactical knife fighting, and tactical cord fighting. These skills were honed among the U.S. Military's most elite combat forces at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
As a recognized expert in close quarter combat, Fike provides advanced training to "At Risk" organizations, including fortune 500 CEO's, law enforcement, Federal agencies, and unconventional military organizations. His seminars, known for their high energy and unconventional approach, focus on the three elements of close quarter hand-to-hand combat, tactical knife fighting, and tactical cord fighting.
Fike's real-world experiences have been translated into the fantasy world of Hollywood, where he is often asked to provide realism and authenticity to his projects. When not on a movie set or speaking at a business convention, Fike can be found teaching at his dojo, The Madison Combined Martial Arts Association, located in Madison, Ohio.
