Richard Crudo, ASC, is a renowned cinematographer and director with a distinguished career spanning decades in the film industry. He has made a significant impact with his work, showcasing his exceptional skills and versatility.

In his most recent projects, Crudo has directed the documentary "Ed Murphy: American Hero," which tells the inspiring story of a decorated World War II veteran who was part of the Naval Combat Demolition Unit, a precursor to the modern-day SEAL teams. He has also worked as a cinematographer on the upcoming CBS series "Tommy," capturing the Los Angeles segments of the show.

Crudo's career as a cinematographer began in the 1990s, and since then, he has lensed over thirty feature films, including the timeless classic "American Pie" and other notable movies such as "American Buffalo," "Outside Providence," "Down to Earth," "Federal Hill," "Out Cold," "Grind," and "Brooklyn Rules."

In addition to his work in feature films, Crudo has also photographed commercials and episodic television series for various networks, including FX Network's "Justified," CW's "Jane the Virgin," MTV's "Awkward," Amazon's "Good Girls Revolt," and CBS's "NCIS" and "SWAT."
