Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique, widely recognized as Riaz, is a renowned Bangladeshi film actor born on October 26, 1972, in the Faridpur district. Initially, he began his career as an air craft pilot in the Bangladesh Air Force from 1991 to 1994. However, he was later dismissed due to a misunderstanding with the authority. After a brief period, he moved to Dhaka and joined the film industry, making his debut in the commercially successful film "Banglar Nayok" (1995) directed by Dewan Nazrul. Inspired by his cousin actress Bobita, he took his first steps in the film industry. His breakthrough role came in "Praner Cheye Priyo" (1997) directed by Mohammad Hannan.
Riaz is not only a talented film actor but also a famous model, television host, and film producer. His first produced film was "Hridoyer Kotha" (2006) under the banner "Pathik". He has won the best actor award at the National Film Awards three times, in the years 2000, 2007, and 2009, for his performances in "Dui Duari" (2000),"Daruchini Dwip" (2007),and "Ki Jadu Korila" (2008) respectively.

Throughout his career, he has acted in over a hundred Bengali language films.
Riaz was born in the Faridpur district but his paternal home is in the Jessore district. He comes from an aristocratic Muslim family and was brought up in the CNB staff quarters of Faridpur. His parents, late Zainuddin Ahamed Siddique and Arzumand Ara Begum, have six daughters who are all married, and a son, Raisuddin Ahamed Siddique. Riaz married model and "Binodon Bichitra Photo Sundori" 2004 champion Mushfika Tina on December 18, 2007. He runs a food product company called "Yes Corporation Ltd" in Banani, Dhaka, and is also the Director & CEO of "Ashiyan Group" in Gulshan circle 2, Dhaka.
