After settling in the city of Santos, Renata joined Eva Todor's esteemed 'Eva e Seus Artistas' theater company, where she honed her skills as a vaudeville and comedic performer, earning widespread recognition.
In 1946, Renata made her film debut, and her talent soon catapulted her to the status of one of the top stars at 'Atlântida Cinematográfica', the most successful film production company in Brazil until 1962.
The pinnacle of her fame was reached between 1967 and 1971, when she portrayed the beloved character 'Helena' in the popular live tele-theater comedy series A Família Trapo (1967),sharing the stage with some of Brazil's finest comedians.
In the early 1970s, Renata became a regular cast member for Globo Television, consistently delivering memorable performances in telenovelas and guest appearances.
