Regina Lund's life began amidst the creative chaos of her father Christian Lund's rehearsals for Bertolt Brecht's "Three Penny Opera". Her mother, Sonja Lund, a Swedish actress and professional ballet dancer, played the role of Polly in the same play and would often breastfeed Regina in the cramped dressing rooms of the theatre during performances.
As a toddler, Regina moved to Stockholm at the age of one, and by the time she was three, she was sent to live with her paternal grandparents in Gävle, a small city in northern Sweden. It was here that she learned American English at the age of four and began attending acting schools two years later.
By the time she was 13, Regina was already singing, dancing, and acting in local musicals and plays in Gävle. At 17, she won a scholarship to study in the US, but after returning to Sweden, she was accepted into law school, only to realize that her true calling lay elsewhere.
At the age of 21, Regina was accepted into the prestigious State School of Performing Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her first major role after graduating was as Ofelia in a production of Hamlet, directed by Jan Bergman, Ingmar Bergman's eldest son. The performance received rave reviews, and Regina's star began to rise in Sweden.
She went on to seduce audiences as Sugar in the musical "Some Like It Hot", earning the coveted "Best Female Musical Artist" award (Guld Masken). Regina also launched a successful singing-songwriting career, which was widely praised by critics and audiences alike. She is currently working on her first solo album.
Apart from her work in film, television, theatre, music projects, and photography, Regina has recently released her first poetry book.
