Regen Wilson, a talented actor, hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and Danville, Kentucky. His passion for the theatre began at a young age and continued to flourish during his time in the United States Air Force.
Enrolling at the prestigious Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wilson's acting skills were honed throughout his military service, which culminated in his eventual discharge from active duty in Washington, D.C.
Following his military service, Wilson remained in Washington for several years, where he appeared in a variety of television shows and films, including Turn, Killing Lincoln, Veep, Better Living Through Chemistry, and Company Town, among others.
In addition to his work in television and film, Wilson also began working in commercials, representing notable clients such as Best Buy, Marriott, Volkswagen, the U.S. Postal Service, Veterans Administration, Citadel Federal Credit Union, Shentel Internet, the Washington Auto Show, and the Washington Capitals.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Wilson has continued to build a diverse range of credits, including appearances in Fear the Walking Dead, Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots, and feature films like Broken Ceiling and The Spearhead Effect. He has also worked on commercials for clients including Jet Blue, Mint Mobile, IHOP, Norton Lifelock, CBS Sports, and Fruit of the Loom.
When not pursuing his acting career, Wilson is dedicated to advocating for veterans' issues and those affected by homelessness, PTSD, unemployment, and substance abuse. He is also an avid enthusiast of history, hiking, and politics, and is often accompanied by his business partner, a lovable Dachshund named Sparky.
