Rebecca Kwan, a rising star from Toronto, Ontario, made the bold decision to relocate to Vancouver, British Columbia, after leaving behind a thriving, self-sustained business to pursue her lifelong passion for acting.
As a natural-born storyteller, Kwan was instantly drawn to the world of acting and writing. In 2021, she landed her first series regular role in the CSA-nominated Paramount+/CBC Gem show "SkyMed," portraying the character of Emma Lin, a skilled ER Nurse working at a remote nursing station in Northern Manitoba.
Kwan's character navigates the high-stakes world of medical rescues while balancing her personal relationships, showcasing the actress's impressive range and versatility.
In addition to her work on "SkyMed," Kwan has recently appeared in the indie feature "Jersey Boy" and the CBS dramedy pilot "Our Ladies of Brooklyn," created by Jennie Snyder Urman, known for her work on "Jane the Virgin" and "Charmed."
Kwan has also had notable roles in the NBC series "Taken" and the feature film "Mouthpiece," directed by Patricia Rozema, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the WIFTV Artistic Merit Award for drama at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
When she's not acting, Kwan is dedicated to producing and writing under her own production company, SeeYun Entertainment.
