Rashid Phoenix embarked on a martial arts journey at the tender age of 15, his enthusiasm for the discipline sparked by an insatiable passion for martial arts cinema. As he delved deeper into the world of kung Fu, he aspired to emulate the remarkable characters he had grown up idolizing on the big screen.
After years of rigorous training in his hometown of London, UK, Rashid decided to take his skills to the next level by venturing to China, the cradle of martial arts. For an entire year, he immersed himself in the ways of martial arts and Buddhist philosophy, residing in a secluded Shaolin Temple School nestled in the famous Songshan Mountains of northern China.
During his time in China, Rashid was invited to represent his school and perform with their esteemed Shaolin monk performance team, aimed at promoting the Shaolin arts throughout the country. This opportunity allowed him to travel extensively, performing with his school's Shaolin monk team in numerous provinces across China.
Following his departure from China, Rashid spent several months traveling throughout Asia, seeking to expand his knowledge of martial arts and deepen his understanding of the discipline.
For a considerable period, Rashid had been aware of his desire to be involved in the movie industry, driven by his ambition to inspire others, just as he had been inspired by the powerful characters he had always admired.
With unwavering dedication, Rashid applied his passion for martial arts to the art of acting, striving to make a meaningful impact in the world of cinema.
