Joana Fernandes, better known by her ring name Killer Kelly, is a talented and accomplished female Portuguese professional wrestler. Born and raised in Portugal, Kelly has made a name for herself in the world of professional wrestling, competing in various promotions and events across Europe and beyond.
Kelly's journey in professional wrestling began in 2010, when she made her debut in Wrestling Portugal, competing in the WP Tarzan Taborda Tournament. Despite being eliminated in the quarterfinals by Alice, Kelly returned to the ring just two months later, participating in a mixed tag match with Ze de Manteigas. Over the next few years, Kelly continued to hone her skills, competing in various matches and events throughout Portugal and Europe.
In 2016, Kelly returned to the ring, winning her first singles match against Marcos Vitoria at WP Batalha Dos 1000. She continued to compete in Portugal, eventually returning to the ring in 2017, where she competed in her first title match for the WP National Championship.
Kelly's success in Portugal caught the attention of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE),and in 2018, she was signed to the company's NXT UK brand. Kelly made her WWE debut during the 2018 WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament, competing in a dark fatal four-way match against Isla Dawn, Jinny, and Toni Storm.
Kelly also competed in the second annual Mae Young Classic, where she was eliminated in the first round by Meiko Satomura. However, she did appear during the 9 August tapings of the tournament, teaming with Jinny in a tag match lost to Ariel Monroe and Candice LeRae.
Since joining NXT UK, Kelly has continued to make a name for herself, competing in various matches and events. She has faced off against a range of opponents, including Dakota Kai, Millie McKenzie, Charlie Morgan, and Isla Dawn. Despite facing setbacks and defeats, Kelly remains a formidable force in the world of professional wrestling, known for her determination, skill, and passion for the sport.
