Randy, an individual with a rich background, hails from the potato-rich state of Idaho. In pursuit of his artistic aspirations, he bid farewell to the Gem State's lush landscape and relocated to the sun-kissed city of Los Angeles.
His academic journey commenced at Boise State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 1997. This foundation laid the groundwork for his future endeavors, as he continued to hone his craft through intensive studies with renowned institutions such as The Stella Adler Theatre and The Atlantic Theatre Company.
As his career flourished, Randy's versatility shone through in a wide range of projects. He has lent his voice to numerous commercials, voiced various characters, and appeared in films and television shows. Moreover, he has had the privilege of gracing the stage in several productions, including the world premiere of "Drop" at the esteemed Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. alongside the talented Jayma Mays.
Randy's repertoire also boasts a critically acclaimed performance in "The Ruling Class" alongside The National American Shakespeare Company at The Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles.
In recent years, Randy has made significant contributions to the world of cinema. He portrayed the Maître D of the iconic Hollywood Trocadero in the 2021 Oscar-winning film "Mank," directed by the visionary David Fincher. Additionally, he brought to life the enigmatic Senator Joseph McCarthy in the Oscar-nominated "The United States vs Billie Holiday," directed by the acclaimed Lee Daniels.
