Rafaella Biscayn, a Paris-born producer with Italian heritage, has a rich background in the entertainment industry. Born to parents who worked in television and movies in France, she developed a passion for the industry from a young age.
As a child, Rafaella began singing at the age of five, followed by playing the violin at six, and participating in theater groups and ballet at seven. She then started doing voice-overs and recorded a music demo sponsored by Universal Music France at just eight years old.
When her family relocated to the US, Rafaella continued to pursue her passion for performing, singing, and acting. She booked opera recitals, worked on short films, indies, commercials, TV shows, and hosted shows. At the age of 14, she even published a reality novel, "Call 911 on 9/11 at 9:11," available online and in local bookstores around Miami.
Rafaella attended UCLA, earning a Bachelor's degree and completing the prestigious Producing Program at UCLA's TV & Film School, headed by Tom Nunan.
In commercials, she has worked with numerous clients, including Apple, McDonald's, FORD, Honda, Nokia, KFC, Caesar's Palace, FOX, A&E, MTV, and Univision. She has also acted in shorts, indies, TV episodes, and a variety of fun commercials. One of her favorites is her "Nespresso" national commercial with George Clooney and Danny DeVito, which aired for over a year.
In 2019, Rafaella began working with producers Mark Canton and Courtney Solomon on the adult-animated TV show "The Freak Brothers," which is now in its second season, premiering on June 25th, 2023.
She also produced "The Strangers Trilogy" for Lionsgate, based on the original 2008 movie "The Strangers," now directed by Renny Harlin, starring Madelaine Petsch, Froy Gutierrez, and Gabriel Basso. "The Strangers Chapter 1" is set to be released in theaters nationwide in the US and UK on May 17th.
Rafaella's love for books and reading has been instrumental in her career, allowing her to pitch and develop numerous properties into TV and movie projects across various genres.
