Rafa Lara is a renowned director, screenwriter, and showrunner who has made a significant impact in the film and television industry. In 2023, he released the epic historical war series "PANCHO VILLA: CENTAUR OF THE NORTH" on Disney/Star+ in over 20 languages, showcasing his expertise in crafting engaging stories.

Lara began his career at the age of 19, directing films, TV shows, and advertisements. He created the first Latin drama serial, "The Edge of the Law", in the United States in 2004, which set a new standard for production and storytelling.

Throughout his career, Lara has directed, written, produced, and edited numerous films, including "La Milagrosa" (2008),a war drama set in Colombia, and "The Fifth Commandment" (2010),a psychological thriller that explores the controversial topic of pedophilia.
