Rae Farrer, a talented individual, was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, where her mother, a multifaceted artist with a passion for painting and sewing, nurtured her creative inclinations from a young age. This early exposure to various artistic pursuits, including piano and jazz lessons, self-choreographed dance recitals, and other creative outlets, laid the foundation for Rae's future endeavors.
As an adult, Rae made the bold decision to cross the border to Detroit, where she immersed herself in the city's vibrant cultural scene, frequenting live music, theatre, and improv shows. After completing her academic pursuits at the University of Windsor, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Rae's fascination with Shakespeare and the arts only grew stronger.

Her passion for acting remains unwavering, and she continues to work in television and film, her favorite art form.
In addition to her acting endeavors, Rae has also explored her creative side through screenwriting and improvisation. In 2018, she wrote, starred in, and directed her first short screenplay, The Winds, which earned her a Best Actress nomination in the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers' Stinger Awards. The film was later featured at the Toronto Female Eye Film Festival in 2019.
