Quincy Rose is a renowned American filmmaker, son of the late comedy writer Mickey Rose, known for his work on Take the Money and Run and Bananas.
In 2012, Quincy's debut feature film, Miles to Go, premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Feature. After completing the festival circuit, it was released in 2015. IndieWIRE praised Miles to Go, calling it "One of the 12 indie-fil toms watch on VOD" in May 2015, while The Hollywood Reporter noted that "If Woody Allen and Albert Brooks had a baby, this film would be it."
Quincy's second feature film, Friends Effing Friends Effing Friends, had its world premiere at the 2016 Cinequest Film Festival, where it received rave reviews. The San Francisco Chronicle described it as "Sexually frank... a more serious romantic comedy," highlighting Quincy's unique approach to humor, influenced by his father and godfather. The film went on to play at the 2016 Manhattan Film Festival, where it won the Best Feature Romantic Drama award, and was released on VOD in the US and Canada via Gravitas Ventures in 2016, as well as in foreign territories via Cardinal XD.
Quincy's third feature, The Narcissists, shot on the streets of New York City in the fall of 2016, premiered at the 2017 Indy Film Festival. The film played at the Blow-Up Chicago International Arthouse Film Fest, where Quincy was nominated for the Antonioni Award for Best Feature, and screened as part of NewFilmmakers NY in 2018 before being released worldwide by Gravitas Ventures in 2017.
