Quincy Evans Okechukwu Ndekwe, a multifaceted individual with a rich background, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to a loving family of four children. His mother, Debra, a dedicated secretary, and his father, Fintan, a skilled pharmacist from Nigeria, instilled in him the importance of education and hard work.
As Quincy pursued his passion for physical therapy at Rochester Community College, he unexpectedly discovered a hidden talent for acting. His college professor, impressed by his potential, encouraged him to explore the world of theater. Quincy took a chance and auditioned for a role in an upcoming production, which ultimately led to his first on-stage appearance.
His initial success in the theater world propelled him to book his first paid acting role in the play "Last of the Boys" by Steven Dietz at the Rochester repertory theatre. He continued to impress audiences with his performances, including a lead role in the play "RACE- to the finish," which tackled the sensitive topic of social inequality.
With his newfound confidence and skills, Quincy began seeking out agencies in his hometown, quickly booking commercials and solidifying his position as a talented young actor. Upon graduating with a degree in Liberal Arts and Science, he felt prepared to take on new challenges and relocated to Los Angeles.
In LA, Quincy has continued to excel in his craft, working on a variety of projects, including the film "Rosewood" (2015) starring Morris Chestnut, the award-winning drama "Kessi Blue" (2016),and the critically acclaimed film "Upstairs" (2013) directed by Montana Mann.
