Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley's stepfather, an Air Force officer, was stationed in West Germany, where as a teenager she had a chance encounter with Elvis Presley in 1959, just four years into his rapid ascent to fame in the world of rock and roll, while he was serving his country in the U.S. Armed Forces. This initial meeting would ultimately lead to a lengthy courtship of eight years, culminating in their marriage on May 1st, 1967. As their union began to unravel, Priscilla Presley turned her attention to new pursuits, including the study of karate and acting. Following Elvis's untimely passing, she ventured into the business world and began to make a name for herself in the film and television industries, most notably as Jenna Wade from 1983 to 1988 in the highly successful television series Dallas, which premiered in 1978. In more recent years, she has solidified her status as a talented actress by taking on the role of Jane Spencer in the "Naked Gun" film franchise, which originated with the 1988 release of The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!.
