Pratik Gandhi is a renowned Indian theatre and film actor, primarily working in Gujarati theatre and cinema. He has gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Harshad Mehta in the 2020 Sony LIV biographical series Scam 1992.
Born in Surat to teachers, Pratik Gandhi was involved in theatre arts during his studies in Surat. He graduated in Industrial Engineering from Jalgaon's North Maharashtra University and began working as an engineer at Reliance Industries during the day, while pursuing his passion for theatre in the evenings.
Pratik Gandhi's career in theatre took off when he worked with the National Productivity Council in Satara, Pune, and later with a multinational corporation in Mumbai. He has also lent his voice to the song "Athadaya Kare Che" in the movie Love Ni Bhavai.
In his personal life, Pratik Gandhi is married to television and theatre actress Bhamini Oza, whom he fell in love with in 2009. The couple has a daughter, Miraya, born in 2014. He also has a younger brother, Punit Gandhi, who is a designer and has lent his voice to the song "Athadaya Kare Che" in the movie Love Ni Bhavai.
Pratik Gandhi's breakthrough in Gujarati theatre came with the play Aa Paar Ke Pele Paar, which was commercially successful. He then worked with renowned Gujarati theatre stalwarts, including Firoz Bhagat, Apara Mehta, and Vipra Rawal.

Pratik Gandhi's play Mohan's Masala, a monologue performed in three languages - English, Hindi, and Gujarati - on the same day, earned him a place in the Limca Book of Records. He played a lead role in his next film, Wrong Side Raju (2016),which also became commercially and critically successful, and went on to win the National Award for Best Gujarati Film.
Pratik Gandhi's most recent and notable work is his biographical drama web series, Scam 1992 (2020),depicting the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, which became a massive hit.
